In case you haven’t heard ‘Granny Chic’ style has rapidly raged the Fashion World.

‘Granny Chic’ trend has made its way back onto the scene and highlights the need for sustainable fashion. We’re all familiar with the fashion love affair of recycling top trends and how it makes cleaning out our closets into a quite an exciting chore. Gucci, MiuMiu and many more designers were seen adopting a subtle ‘Granny Chic’ style on the runway for Fall/Autumn 16.

This trend is a perfect mix of youthful risk taking and sophistication roll in one. The ‘Granny Chic’ trend is probably the best thing that has ever happened to many fashionistas out that have been waiting to break out of their vintage swag Autumn 2016  Granny Chic 2016  The Zoe Report

In my opinion ‘Granny chic’ trend  is very hard to pull off. I am about 5’3 tall, petite and slightly curvier. I didn’t feel bold enough to try the ‘Granny Chic’ trend. Although, I absolutely adore vintage-inspired prints, feminine lace and pussy-bows galore, but  I decided to try this trend in a less intimidating way by adding a vintage ‘Granddad Style’ blazer instead.

My ‘Granddad style’ blazer is my ultimate wardrobe workforce. I paired it with my favourite distressed boyfriend jeans. I also added a flirty lace crop top and finished it with a touch of timeless rose gold accesories. This way I still had fun with the “Old School Chic’ but still kept it modern.

I honestly felt extremely feminine by adding boyish vintage charm to my outfit. It always makes me feel extremely girly but my mother would disagree!
